Strength and conditioning practitioners, physical preparation staff and certified race coaches carrying responsibility for the physical program of alpine ski racers, at any level from club and academy through to national team.

• The physical demands of alpine ski racing by discipline, from junior competition to World Cup
• Strength, power and eccentric capacity
• Force and impulse production in the alpine turn
• Agility, mobility and adaptation
• Testing batteries, monitoring, and the interpretation of the data
• Training load, fatigue, recovery, and the signals of overreaching
• Periodization across a competitive season and across an Olympic cycle
• Programming around a dense international calendar and long travel
• Sleep and nutrition within a travelling program
• Speed-discipline conditioning — neck, trunk and impact tolerance
• Injury risk, prevention, and return to training and competition
• Integration of gym work with on-snow training and race days
• Differences in physical profile and injury exposure between female and male racers
• Working within a multidisciplinary performance team
