Observation method

Coach Eye

Observe, identify, intervene, verify. The observation and intervention method applied throughout every ARCI qualification.

Coach Eye

Coach Eye is the ARCI diagnostic method. Candidates work through a repeatable sequence, separating cause from symptom before intervening, and describe what they see in precise movement terms.

01

Observe

Read turn shape, line interpretation and the athlete's coordinated movements across the full run.

02

Identify

Separate cause from symptom and locate the phase where the movement pattern breaks down.

03

Prioritize

Decide which single factor will produce the largest performance change this session.

04

Intervene

Choose the exercise, external focus of attention, corridor or course set that addresses the cause.

05

Verify

Confirm whether the movement and the time actually changed, then adapt the intervention.
